Since then, the Ministry has organized a number of events for the portal promotion, as well as the first hackathon competition for development of open data based applications. Despite these activities, the portal has been visited at average of 700 single visits a month, that is far from the expected number. This is considered to be due to insufficient popularization of open data as a concept, and 20
