The Secretary has certain powers and obligations under this Part, including the power to undertake an assessment of a critical infrastructure asset to determine if there is a risk to national security relating to the asset. The Secretary must give the Minister a report each financial year for presentation to the Parliament. The report relates to the operation of this Act.
