The CIRT-SL will work as the central body for cyber security at the national level.

It will provide:

• A unified source of advice for the Government’s cyber security threat intelligence and information assurance;
• Public face of the Government’s action against cyber threats – working hand in hand with industry, academia and international partners to keep the state protected against cyber-attack;
• A frontline organization that draws on necessary secret intelligence and technical expertise.
