Qualifications for amateur licensee
_.. 141. The applicant will be required to satisfy the Permanent Secretary as to his
technical knowledge and knowledge of procedure before a licence can be granted.
For this purpose an’ examination may be held under the supervision’ of the

145. No owner or operator of a broadcast receiving station shall, without the
written consent of the Permanent Secrétary, commit to writing or cause, enable or
assist any other pérson to commit to writing for.the purpose.
of publication in a
‘newspaper or for the putpose of written publication in any other form, any matter
transmitted from any radio station either in Fiji’or. overseas. .

146.—(1) It shall not be lawful for any person to sell, or offer for sale, or have
"in his possession: for sale, in the way of his business, any plant, machinery,
instruments, material, or other apparatus designed and intended for use in
connection with radio-communication, as defined in the Act, unless he is the holder
of a dealer's licence issued to him under these. Regulations. (Amended by
