Interpretation la. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, “‘standard rental area”, in relation to the provision of a telecommunications service to a subscriber’s premises, means are, to be, directly connected. the area within a radius of 3.5 km around the exchange to which, for the purposes of the provision of that service, those premises . PART (Inserted by Legal Notice 61 of 1982.) II—RULES CONCERNING THE PROVISION : SERVICE . Telephone and like services subject to Regulations OF TELEPHONE , 2. All telephone and other like services approved or authorised by the Permanent Secretary to be approved or used at any time prior or subsequent to these Regulations shall be subject to the conditions set forth in these Regulations or in any amendments or extensions thereof. ° : Subscriber's agreement _ 3. All applications for a telephone service shall be made on the form supplied for the purpose. Intending subscribers are required to enter into an agreement with the Permanent Secretary and no telephone installation shall be commenced until such agreement has been signed; nor, at the discretion of the Permanent Secretary, shall such installation be commenced until payment of the prescribed entrance fee has been made. .
