In the context of the Strategy, the acronym CERT is used for any organisational unit, sub-unit or individual responsible for coordination, prevention of and protection from computer threats to information systems security. Other than CERT, the acronym CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) also exists in international practice.
