Electronic Transactions CAP. 196 39 being an offence which may be compounded by collecting from any person reasonably suspected of having committed that offence a sum not exceeding $5,000. (2) The Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, make regulations prescribing the offences which may be compounded under this Act. Power to exempt. 60. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or in any other written law, the Minister may exempt, subject to such terms and conditions as he thinks fit, any person or classes of person from all or any of the provisions of this Act or any regulations made thereunder. Regulations. 61. (1) The Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, make regulations to prescribe anything which is required to be prescribed under this Act and generally for the carrying out of the provisions of this Act. (2) Any regulations made under this Act may make different provision for different cases or classes of case and for different purposes of the same provision. B.L.R.O. 4/2008
