  • mwCERT is department within MACRA that acts as a focal point for coordination of cybersecurity related issues at national and international level.
  • Its mission is to provide a comprehensive set of responses to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities through national coordination with all stakeholders to effectively respond and prevent Cyber security incidents for critical infrastructures and other systems of national interest.
  • Mandate was provided by the by the Electronic Transactions and Cyber Security Act 2016.
