Private Sector The Private Sector will be responsible for protecting the data, services and systems they own, provide and operate respectively, and as such will be responsible for ensuring their compliance with national laws, policies, standards, procedures and frameworks relating to cybersecurity. 5.1.12. Citizens The citizens will be expected to take appropriate steps in order to safeguard themselves in cyberspace against cyber threats and attacks. They will further be expected to utilize the information and messages available on the safe use of the cyberspace. 23
