- In the process of being established, as mandated by the National Cyber Security Strategy (see the Cyber Security Agency Bill);
- Would be responsible for, inter alia, acting as the national point of contact for all cyber security related matters, refer matters to the police, prepare, review and update periodically and in any event at least annually a national cyber security strategy, provide advice on cyber security related matters, develop and publish standards for products and services on cyber security, conduct research and development in the area of cyber security, and coordinate cyber security exercices.
