Vision: Safe and trusted cyberspace for the people of Kenya Goal: Enhance the protection and resilience of CIIs. Objective: Protect and safeguard CIIs. Interventions: a. Develop Critical Information Infrastructure Protection framework. b. Identify and classify CIIs. c. Implementation of Cryptography and access control to safeguard GoK sensitive information and data. d. Implement baseline cybersecurity measures (physical and technical security controls including emergency/disaster contingency and recovery measures). e. Encourage establishment of in-country Cloud Computing Data Centers and services, and promote local hosting. f. Promote use of local internet exchange points. g. Establish Information sharing/reporting and Incident response framework. Outcome: Increased protection and resilience of CIIs.
