It highlights the progress made with regard to the promotion of the entry into force of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and the three protocols thereto, and also describes the status of work regarding the negotiation of the draft United Nations convention against corruption, and reviews technical cooperation activities related to the global programmes against corruption, trafficking in human beings and transnational organized crime.
