Federal Organizations with Non-Public Facing Cyber Roles
Some of the most critical functions to Canada’s national cyber defence and security
occur outside of public view — on systems and networks, in coordination with critical
infrastructure partners, and with allies around the world. The Government of Canada is
active in offensive and defensive cyber operations against malicious threat actors — a
function of growing importance to both economic and national security. Engagement in
foreign cyber policy and norms development is increasing year-over-year. And a multidepartmental effort defends government networks and keeps essential services online.
