7.2 Vision of National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Plan (NCIIPP) The country envisions an environment where physical and cyber critical infrastructure are secure and resilient, with vulnerabilities reduced and consequences minimised to acceptable tolerable limits, where threats are identified and dealt with in a coordinated response and recovery strategy.   7.3 Policy Objectives of NCIIPP: i. Detect, identify, discourage, disrupt and prepare for threats and cyber hazards to Nigeria’s critical information infrastructure ii. Reduce vulnerabilities of critical assets, systems and networks to deliberate, unintentional and natural threats.     iii. Mitigate the potential consequences to critical infrastructure of incidents or adverse events that do occur through advance planning and mitigation efforts to save lives and ensure prompt recovery of essential services. iv. Share important and actionable information among the critical infrastructure community in order to build awareness and provide a risk-informed decision making.   v.
