under this Law, the Council of Ministers shall, in accordance with subsections (2) and (3) of Section 5, appoint another Deputy Commissioner for the remainder of his term of office. (4) If, on the one hand, the appointment of the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner pursuant to this Section takes place before the completion of one half of the term of office of the replaced Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner, it shall be considered for the purposes of paragraphs (a) or (b) of subsection (3) of Section 5 to be an appointment of a Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner, whereas on the other hand, if it takes place after the completion of one half of the term of office of the replaced Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner, it shall not be taken into account for the purposes of the said provisions. Emoluments etc. of the Commissioner 8.(1) The emoluments of the Commissioner, including any other benefits and allowances, shall be determined by decision of the Council of Ministers. and Deputy Commissioner and their retirement bonus. (2) When he shall cease to hold office, the Commissioner shall be entitled to 4(a) of 51(I) of a pension and a bonus, to be determined by decision of the Council of 2012. 2(a) of 77(I) of 2014.
