207/89 “Commission for the Protection of Competition” means the Commission for the Protection of Competition established under Section 8 of the Protection of Competition Law; “Commissioner” means the Commissioner of Electronic Communications and Postal Regulation, who is appointed according to paragraph (1) of Section 5 of this Law; 138(I)/2001 “Commissioner for Personal Data Protection” means the Commissioner 37(I)/2003 appointed under Section 18 of the Processing of Personal Data (Protection of the Individual) Laws of 2001 and 2003; “communication” means any information exchanged or conveyed between a finite number of parties by means of a publicly available electronic communications service. This does not include any information conveyed as part of a broadcasting service to the public over an electronic communications network, except to the extent that the information can be related to the identifiable subscriber or user receiving the information; “conditional access system” means any technical measure and/or arrangement whereby access to a protected radio or television broadcasting service in intelligible form is made conditional upon subscription or other form of prior individual licence/authorisation; 3(a) of 112(I) of 2016. “conformity assessment” means the process demonstrating whether the essential requirements of the provisions of this Law relating to radio equipment have been fulfilled; 3(a) of 112(I) of 2016. “conformity assessment body” means the body that performs conformity assessment activities; 27
