The NCCS project is a joint initiative of Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Planning Commission.

Its objectives are:

• Build national capacity to carry out R&D in the emerging fields of Cyber Security;
• Fulfil Pakistan’s Cyber Security requirements by solving local cyber security problems;
• Contribute to sustainable economic growth through commercialization;
• Building public and private partnerships;
• Develop a vibrant Cyber Security ecosystem;
• Establish collaborations with other centres (AI, Robotics and Data Science) wherever required to achieve desired results.
