3 – Publication shall be done by means of a summary containing information on the offence and the penalties applied and the identification of the agent. 1 – The processing of data held in manual filing systems on the date of the entry into force of this Act shall be brought into conformity with Articles 7, 8, 10 and 11 within five years. 2 – At his request the data subject may in any event, in particular when exercising the right of access, obtain the rectification, erasure or blocking of incomplete or inaccurate data or data kept in a manner incompatible with the legitimate purposes of the controller. 3 - The CNPD may provide that the data held in manual filing systems and kept solely for the purposes of historical research need not be brought into conformity with Articles 7, 8 and 9, provided they are in no case reused for a different purpose. Acts 10/91 of 29 April and 28/94 of 29 August are hereby revoked. This Act comes into force on the day following its publication. Approved on 28 September 1998.
