The Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) is located within the NCSC and is responsible for risk and incident handling in the State and;

(a) Monitors incidents within the State

(b) Provides early warnings, alerts, announcements and dissemination of information about risk and incidents to relevant stakeholders

(c) Responds to incidents notified to it

(d) Provides dynamic risk and incident analysis and situational awareness

(e) Participates and co-operates in the CSIRT network

(f) Promotes greater rivate sector co-operation
