Summary

Second National Cyber Security Strategy of Germany. The first National Cyber Security Strategy was adopted in 2011;
Provides strategic framework for all activities of the Federal Government with regards to cyber security.

The Federal Government’s cyber security policy in the coming years will set priorities in the following four areas of action:

Remaining safe and autonomous in a digital environment;
Government and private industry working together;
Strong and sustainable cyber security architecture for every level of government;
Germany’s active role in European and international cyber security policy.
