Mandated to:

• Foster a secure and effective environment for the consumer, business sector and the government to conduct and use electronic communication in cyberspace;
• Coordinate and assist its constituents in implementing proactive measures to reduce the risks of computer security incidents as well as responding to such incidents;
• Increase awareness to educate the local population about the adverse effects of cyber threats and cybercrime, and provide timely advisories to all its constituents;
• Work as the national point of contact for local, regional and world CIRTs/CSIRTs/CERTs.
