Article 313b

(1) Any person who destroys, hides, falsifies or damages a document of the State Security
Service or of the Intelligence Services of the Bulgarian Popular Army shall be punished by
imprisonment for a period of 3 to 6 years and a fine in the amount of between BGN 15 000 and
BGN 30 000.
(2) The same punishment shall be imposed on a person who holds a document in violation
of the Access to and Disclosure of the Documents and Announcing of Affiliation of Bulgarian
Citizens with the State Security Service and the Intelligence Services of the Bulgarian Popular
Army Act.
Article 314

A person who intentionally becomes the cause for untrue facts or statements to be
introduced into an official document, drawn up in compliance with the established procedure on
the basis of a declaration by a private person, shall be punished by imprisonment for up to two
years or by probation.
Article 315
(1) A person who draws up a document by filling out a blank sheet carrying the signature
of another, with contents which does not correspond to the will of the person who has signed it,
shall be punished in compliance with the differentiation under Articles 308 and 309.
(2) In compliance with the same differentiation punished shall also be a person who,
through deceit persuades another to sign a document with contents which does not correspond to
the will of the signing person.
Article 316
The punishment provided in the preceding articles of this Chapter shall also be imposed on
a person who consciously makes use of an untrue or forged document, of a document with untrue
contents or of such under the preceding Article, where for the drawing up itself of the document
no penal responsibility can be sought from that person.

A person who unlawfully avails himself of a document, while knowing that its author has
signed it with no intention to oblige himself under it, shall be punished by imprisonment for up
