7/16/2020 Second Australia-Indonesia Cyber Policy Dialogue | DFAT states' activities in cyberspace. They agreed to continue to promote the set of common voluntary and non-binding norms of responsible state behaviour recommended in the 2015 UNGGE report, and committed to act in accordance with these norms. They noted the urgent need to cooperate together and with other regional partners on measures to reduce risk in cyberspace. The Dialogue was led for Australia by Dr Tobias Feakin, Ambassador for Cyber Affairs, and on the Indonesian side by Ambassador Desra Percaya, Director General for Asia Pacific and Africa Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Dialogue included, on the Australian side, representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, the Australian Cyber Security Centre and the Australian Federal Police. On the Indonesian side, the Dialogue included representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Cyber and Crypto Agency, the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, the Indonesian National Police and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. Australia and Indonesia agreed to further their partnership across the spectrum of cyber affairs, security and digital economic growth through the establishment of a Memorandum of Understanding on Cyber Cooperation. The two countries decided to hold the next round of the Dialogue in Australia in 2019. Australia expressed their appreciation to Indonesia for hosting the dialogue.
