35 CHAPTER 3. CRIMES ENDANGERING LIFE OR HEALTH Article 112. Threat of Killing or of Violence Threat of killing or of violence, if there exist reasonable grounds to believe in commission thereof – shall be punished with fine up to twenty five minimal monthly wages or correctional labor up to one year, or with arrest up to six months. The same action committed by: a) a special dangerous recidivist; b) a member of an organized criminal group in its interests – shall be punished with fine up to twenty-five minimal monthly wages or correctional labor from one to two years, or imprisonment up to one year. The same action committed in respect to a person or his close relatives in connection with his performing a professional or civil duty – shall be punished with correctional labor from one to three years, or with imprisonment from one to three years. Article 113. Transmitting Venereal Disease or AIDS Intentional endangering another person’s health by possibility of transmitting a venereal disease – shall be punished with fine up to twenty five minimal monthly wages or correctional labor up to one year. Infecting somebody with a venereal disease by a person who was aware of his being diseased – shall be punished with arrest up to six months or imprisonment up to three years. Actions envisaged by Paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article committed in respect of: a) at least two persons; b) a juvenile – shall be punished with imprisonment from two to five years. Intentional endangering another person by possibility of transmitting AIDS or transmission thereof – shall be punished with imprisonment from five to eight years. Criminal Abortion Termination of pregnancy (abortion) by an obstetrician or gynecologist outside medical institution or in the instance of contraindications thereto – shall be punished with fine up to twenty-five minimal monthly wages or correctional labor from one to two years, or with deprivation of certain right up to three years, or with correctional labor up to one year. Abortion made by a person not having a license thereto – shall be punished with fine from twenty-five to fifty minimal monthly wages or correctional labor from one to two years, or arrest up to three months.
