Cyber security aware and active citizens This priority area is about building a culture in which people can operate securely online and know what to do if something goes wrong. Our work in this area will focus on: • practical, targeted and regular awareness campaigns to build awareness and resilience among different groups of people • making it easier for everybody to report cyber incidents and get help from relevant government agencies • increasing the availability of educative tools so people can be secure and safe online • increasing efforts to educate vulnerable users, such as the elderly and children, to prevent victimisation • sharing research so people can understand the threat and vulnerability landscape for their businesses, communities and families.
