The Ministry of Information Communication Technology ('ICT') and National Guidance
of Uganda signed, on 10 February 2017, a Memorandum of Understanding ('MOU') with
the Ministry of ICT of Malawi. The MOU covers siix areas of cooperation, including
electronic government, policy and regulation, cybersecurity as well as research and
innovation. The purpose of cooperation between the two countries is to progress data and
information security and build capacity in policy and regulation.
