BELIZE’S APPROACH TO ICT STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT

Ministry’s Governance Improvement Unit
(GIU) headed by Mrs. Freya Parham
August (with Mr. Dwight Gillette and Mr.
Antonio Madrid) was assigned the task of
identifying and working with a consulting
team to develop Belize’s National ICT
Strategy.

questionnaire in order to assess the
current
state
(Strengths
and
Weaknesses) of GOB’s ICT development
and conducted phone interviews of all of
the secondary schools and the University
of Belize in order to assess the current
state of ICT development in Belize’s
education system.
