According to Israel Defense sources, Israel would provide Honduras with a range of
weapons in the coming decade. Among other undertakings, Honduras will purchase
vessels from Israel Shipyards, as well as cyber services from Israel Aerospace Industries
(IAI), including the establishment of a national CERT. Other Israeli industries will also be
included in the deal.
This mega G2G (government to government) deal was concluded by SIBAT, the
International Defense Cooperation Directorate of the IMOD (Israeli Ministry of Defense).
