“charge” means a charge to be paid for the service provided by the Commission
or an operator {ref. clause (10)};
“Commission”
means
the
Bangladesh
Telecommunication
Regulatory
Commission established under section 6 {ref. clause (3)};
“Commissioner” means the Chairman or any other Commissioner of the
Commission {ref. clause (4)};
“consumer” means a person who takes telecommunication service from an
operator {ref. clause (8)};
“Criminal Procedure Code” means the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Act
V of 1898) {ref. clause (23)};
“employee” includes an officer {ref. clause (5)};
“harmful interference” means an adverse effect of electro-magnechtic energy
created from an emission, radiation or induction that(a)
endangers the use or workability of radio communication system;
or
(b)
significantly reduces or obstructs the use or workability of radio
apparatus, or interrupts such use or workability {ref. clause (6)};
“interference causing apparatus” means an apparatus or device, other than
radio apparatus, that interferes or is of capable of causing interference in radio
communication {ref. clause (17)};
“Inspector” means a person appointed as an Inspector under section 60 {ref.
clause (18)};
“interconnection” means the visible or invisible or logical linkinking of more
than one telecommunication network in order to enable the users of one network
to communicate among themselves or to communicate with the users of another
network or to avail themselves of the service of the other network {ref. clause
(2)};
“interested party” means a person who is interested in the development of
telecommunication or who has applied for a licence for establishing or operating
telecommunication system or for providing telecommunication service, or who
