28 1 of this Act, the Attorney General shall, in coordina- 2 tion with heads of the appropriate Federal entities 3 and in consultation with officers designated under 4 section 1062 of the National Security Intelligence 5 Reform Act of 2004 (42 U.S.C. 2000ee–1), develop, 6 submit to Congress, and make available to the public 7 interim guidelines relating to privacy and civil lib- 8 erties which shall govern the receipt, retention, use, 9 and dissemination of cyber threat indicators by a 10 Federal entity obtained in connection with activities 11 authorized in this title. 12 (2) FINAL 13 GUIDELINES.— (A) IN GENERAL.—Not later than 180 14 days after the date of the enactment of this 15 Act, the Attorney General shall, in coordination 16 with heads of the appropriate Federal entities 17 and in consultation with officers designated 18 under section 1062 of the National Security In- 19 telligence Reform Act of 2004 (42 U.S.C. 20 2000ee–1) and such private entities with indus- 21 try expertise as the Attorney General considers 22 relevant, promulgate final guidelines relating to 23 privacy and civil liberties which shall govern the 24 receipt, retention, use, and dissemination of 25 cyber threat indicators by a Federal entity ob- † S 754 ES
