•W  e will develop an Action Plan for Standardisation of Industry 4.0. The Economic Affairs Ministry will invite all players involved in the process and external experts to consult together and to regularly share experiences. The goal is to agree on a plan of action for the next steps, in order to quickly set up standardisation in the area of Industry 4.0 – also with an international scope. RAMI 4.0 will play a key role here, and it should be brought to the attention of and promoted by the national and international standard- and norm-setting organisations. •W  e will strengthen cooperation on an international level. Bilateral cooperation with important partner countries can provide support for the Industry 4.0 transformation process. Bilateral cooperation with China in the context of Industry 4.0 can for example strengthen the position of German companies on the Chinese market.
