National defence of Indonesia is held within a total defence system. The system integrates military defence and non-military defence, through efforts to build strength and national defence capability that is strong and respected and has a high deterrent power. Early preparation means the defence system is built sustainably and continuously to deal with various types of threats which cumulatively can be grouped in the form of a factual and non-factual threat.
