Publications of the Prime Minister’s Office 2024:13 Emerging and disruptive technologies are a global challenge. We have the necessary expertise to become a leading quantum security society. The time to take action is now. This will require an even stronger Finnish ecosystem of cybersecurity and cooperation between government and the business community. The strategy envisages a time frame of ten years, facilitating future investment in strategy implementation. Various European Union and NATO funding programmes will form an important instrument for developing national capabilities, innovating new kinds of export products, and supporting national preparedness. Involving and listening to various stakeholders has been fundamental to our strategy. Hundreds of specialists and stakeholders from the public and private sectors, the scientific community and civil society organisations have participated in formulating the strategy.
