3. FIGHTING AGAINST CORRUPTION The aim of the fight against corruption3 is to implement the measures and activities for the prevention and combating of all forms of corruption, increase the number of detected crimes with the element of corruption, especially in the areas identified as strategic priorities - political activities, public finances, privatisation and public-private partnership, judiciary, police, spatial planning and construction, health care, education and sports and the media, reducing the impact of risk factors and the threats of terrorism and extremism and their manifestations while respecting democratic values, the rule of law and protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms.
