Governmental CERT with the following goals:

• Security incidents response and mitigating effects and provide proactive measures to avoid these incidents;
• Building national frameworks for cybersecurity to encourage cooperation among public and private sector and information sharing;
• Increase the confidence in the use of e-government services;
• Increase security awareness of users of IT systems and the Internet;
• Developing the security capabilities of IT system admins to deal with cyber incidents;
• Analyzing the security threats and their impact and provide information on the latest incidents and ways to avoid them;
• Establishment of an accredited center to receive reports of cyber incidents;
• Encouraging the research and development in the field of cybersecurity;
• Cooperation with regional and international response teams and organizations.
