- Operates INCIBE-CERT – a reference security incident response center for citizens and private law entities in Spain; in case of incidents affecting critical operators in the private sector, INCIBE-CERT is operated jointly by INCIBE and the National Center for Infrastructure Protection and Cybersecurity (CNPIC) of the Ministry of the Interior

- Services: fosters services in the cybersecurity field which allow the beneficial use of ICTs and raise the level of digital trust
- Research: dynamic of operations oriented towards research, which permits INCIBE the ability to generate a level of cybersecurity intelligence in its operations in the field of new technologies, which in turn results in improved services
- Coordination: coordination and collaboration with other entities, of both a public and a private character, national and international, throughout the broader field of cybersecurity
