(a) practicable, incorporate its request for specific allocation of the frequencies required in its application to provide information and communications services or establish an information and communications system; (b) not practicable or if requested by the Authority, apply separately for a frequency authorization and in the application, refer to the information and communications service or system, to which the frequencies relate. Publication of information on application procedures 19. (1) Notwithstanding the provisions of section 18, the Authority shall ensure that information on application procedures and information to be submitted by applicants is published in such a way as to make it readily available to interested parties, including at least two newspapers with wide circulation in The Gambia and the Gazette. (2) Notwithstanding the provisions of section 17, the Authority shall ensure that the following information is published and made available to the public(a) all criteria for the issue of licences, general authorizations and declarations; Publication of applications for licences (b) the period of time normally required to reach a decision concerning a request for a licence or general authorization and; (c) the terms and conditions governing activities subject to individual licences, general authorizations, declarations or open entry. 20. (1) On receipt of an application for a licence under this Act, the Authority shall ensure that the application is published in such manner as may determine, including at least two newspapers with wide circulation in The Gambia, giving such details as appropriate and in accordance with confidentiality requirements to enable a person wishing 42
