Schedule 5 Miscellaneous Schedule 5—Miscellaneous Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979 1 At the end of section 105 Add: (5) Section 15.1 (extended geographical jurisdiction—category A) of the Criminal Code applies to an offence against subsection 7(1) or section 63. 3 Subsection 180(4) Omit all the words after “reasonably necessary”, substitute: for the investigation of: (a) a serious offence; or (b) an offence against a law of the Commonwealth, a State or a Territory that is punishable by imprisonment for at least 3 years. 4 Application of amendments made by items 1 and 3 (1) The amendment made by item 1 of this Schedule applies to acts or things done on or after the day this Schedule commences.
