production and the sale of information, knowledge, and technology products and services

To aggressively develop, promote and enhance Ghana’s image as a competitive regional destination for
ICT foreign direct investment (FDI)

To promote and facilitate the development of the private sector to serve as a key driver for the
development of the economy

To modernize the civil and public service with the aim to improve its administrative efficiency,
effectiveness and service delivery through the implementation of electronic governance and government
initiatives set within the wider scope of the institutional engineering and renewal of the civil and public
service
Strategy I:
To modernize and expand Ghana’s information and communications infrastructure and services to
improve universal access and service as well as quality of service (QoS)
Strategy J:
To expand the physical infrastructure of Ghana, including those of power and transport.
Strategy K:
To develop the necessary legal, institutional and regulatory framework and structures required for
supporting the development, deployment and exploitation of ICTs within the economy and society.
