Responsibilities include

• Developing a national strategy for the security of information and following up its implementation, in coordination with the concerned parties.
• Developing policies and standards to raise the efficiency of the means of protection for the national infrastructure operating systems for critical information in all sectors, and necessary measures to ensure compliance.
• Developing accompanying training and awareness programs to support the concerned parties to implement the set policies, in coordination with the competent parties.
