PAKISTAN CLOUD FIRST POLICY Annex B – Priority of Cloud Service Models PSE may consider the following priority in terms of the cloud service model. However, the selection of a particular type of cloud model is dependent on the requirements of the PSE. 1- Software as a Service (SaaS) This type of service model is the preferred model. It maximizes the benefits offered by the cloud. 2- Platform as a Service (PaaS) This type of service model is preferred when SaaS is not available or is not feasible. 3- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) This type of service model is preferred when SaaS and PaaS are not available or are not feasible Highest PaaS PRIORITY SaaS IaaS Lowest Page 17 of 21
