Description
  • Its mission is to ensure that the nation is always and in all circumstances protected against threats that could seriously infringe upon the country’s sovereignty and independence, the free functioning of its institutions, the safeguarding of its national interests and the safety of the population;
  • The HCPN takes action in terms of preventing, anticipating and managing cyber-crises and protecting critical infrastructure;
  • The Cyber Emergency Response Plan defines the action the government must take in the event of a technical flaw or large-scale attack on the information systems of the public and/or private sector;
  • A further mission of the HCPN is to coordinate and draw up the national strategy on the security of network and information systems.
